Hello, hello, hello!
I am Sheila Gonzales, I was born and raised in Santa Maria, California. I know to most people to live in the glorious state of Cali is special. It is beautiful, one of the few places where you can enjoy surfing, skiing, rock climbing, and deep sea fishing all within the same state lines.
However, when I graduated the first thing I could think to do is to move. Yes, with all that greatness and beauty I could not wait to leave. So that’s exactly what I did. I attended the University of New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ever since then I have been moving around the county ever since. My mom says I must have a little bit of nomad in my blood. I never stay longer than three years in any one place.
Which is great when you are a writer like myself. This type of living have allowed me to be a great blog writer with a whole lot of material. Every once in awhile I return home to visit my family for a few days then its off to another part of the country. Next. year I plan moving out of the country. I have my eyes site of Brazil, Rio de Janeiro to be exact. Then after that I have an assignment in Beijing, China where I will live for a year.
That’s me in a nutshell, an aimless wonderer going where ever the wind blows me.
I think I read this on a number sticker in Detroit but it aptly fits my lifestyle and life philosophy:
“Stop worrying about the potholes in the road and enjoy the journey.”
